PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction apparatus capable of reducing the noise level of noise included in exhausted air discharged from a blower motor by simple constitution. SOLUTION: The noise reduction apparatus is provided with: a fixing tool 11 installed so as to surround an exhaust vent 8 formed at a case 1a at the rear end part of a cleaner main body; a filter part 12 provided at the fixing tool 11 so as to oppose the exhaust vent 8 and having a plurality of opening part 12a; and a side wall part 13 mounted to the filter part 12 and having a plurality of opening part 13a in a peripheral direction; and a shielding part 14 provided by forming the filter part 12 and an acoustic space 16 at the side wall part 13.
