<p>The chain drive, with a centrifugal ring (7) which is located in a slot (3) formed in the chain wheel (1) and upon which come to bear the link plates (4,5) of the roller chain, has moldings, which oppose the flow of the flowing medium, formed on the inner side of the centrifugal ring and/or on side of the slot facing the centrifugal ring. The molding is in the form of an annular toothed ring. The space between the slot and the centrifugal ring is connected to the lubricating circuit of the internal combustion engine.</p> |
