Grooves (19, 20) in sides of the panels, form a channel (21) when they are butted together. A plastic tongue strip (22) is inserted into the channel. The grooves extend along the entire length of the sides. The tongue strip is rectangular in cross section and has a thickness (d1) along the vertical central plane. This corresponds with the width (b1) of the groove. The strip tapers outwardly to the sides, which have rounded edges (23, 24). Further interlocking edge formations (6, 7) are described.
