<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of applying stable image-exposure to a photoreceptor by causing a cooling means to securely cool light emitting elements that are highly frequently turned on. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a counting means for counting the number of times that each of the light emitting elements serving as an exposure means is turned on within a fixed period of time, and a control means for driving the cooling means when the count value of the counting means reaches a specified value set in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
