<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the situation, where a document is erroneously printed on a recording material other than a desired recording material by a user, while preventing reduction in printing operability, and to provide an image forming method and an image forming program. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP as the image forming apparatus obtains the information of a paper which can be supplied at present from a paper feed tray, where a plurality of kinds of papers are stacked and stored from an electronic tag provided on the paper. The MFP recognizes the information of the papers specified in a plurality of print jobs waiting for processing respectively, compares the information of the paper which can be supplied at present with the information of the papers specified in the plurality of print jobs, respectively (S202), and preferentially processes a printing job where the information of the paper which can be supplied at present is specified from among the plurality of print jobs, based on the result of the comparison (S203:YES, S208:YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
