<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method of electrically insulating the electrodes of a solar cell capable of manufacturing the solar cell stably, imposing a load less on a wafer, and being realized at a low cost without increasing manufacturing processes in number. <P>SOLUTION: The above method comprises a first step to form a diffusion layer on a crystalline silicon substrate whose conductivity type is opposite to that of the diffusion layer, a second step to remove a part of the diffusion layer by etching using sodium silicate (Na<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>3</SB>), and a third step to form a first electrode electrically connected to the diffusion layer and a second electrode electrically connected to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
