<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain communication equipment for a vehicle, which efficiently transfers electric power to RF tags, and which realizes electric power savings. <P>SOLUTION: This communication equipment for the vehicle comprises: the RF tags 2a-2f which are arranged in a plurality of places of the vehicle, which generate electric power by the reception of an electric wave, and which transmit unique tag IDs, possessed by themselves, by using the received electric power; an in-vehicle unit 4 which is installed in the vehicle 1, so as to emit the electric wave to the RF tags 2a-2f; and a portable machine 5 which receives and transmits the tag IDs transmitted by the RF tags 2a-2f. The in-vehicle unit 4 selectively emits the electric wave only in a direction corresponding to the position of each of the RF tags 2a-2f, via an antenna 3 with directivity, and determines the position of the portable machine 5 from the state of the reception of the tag ID from the portable machine 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
