PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for receiving two neighboring frequency bandwidths at the same time in a cellular environment.

SOLUTION: The invention includes a sub-carrier mapping unit for mapping control information to a predefined sub-carrier such that a terminal can utilize the two neighboring frequency bandwidths at the same time when another base station utilizing the neighboring frequency bandwidth exists, and an IFFT computing unit which applies Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) to data in the frequency domain mapped to the sub-carrier to convert to a time sample data. When two different base stations transmit same data, since the same data are transmitted through such channels that are independent to each other, a receiver may obtain micro-diversity gains and load-balancing between the two base stations can be controlled.
