<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush which informs a user of the time etc., of replacing a toothbrush. <P>SOLUTION: At a step T19, a 30-minute counter accumulates the driving period of an oscillation motor M. At a step T20, the 30-minute counter judges whether 30 minutes has passed. In the case of≤30 minutes, a step T23 makes a microcomputer A into a suspension mode for reducing power consumption of the microcomputer A. When the 30-minute counter shows≥30 minutes, buzzing for quickening the step T21 to replace by a spare brush unit 3.
