PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction design material and a coating material preventing generation of static electricity, by which dust, mold, fungus, algae, etc. are hardly gathered on a construction surface. SOLUTION: The coating material preventing generation of static electricity which contains barium titanate is coated on the construction design material like a tile, a metal siding or a glass. Then it is calcinated or dried, and is fixed to a surface of the construction design material to obtain the construction design material preventing generation of static electricity. Further, by coating the coating material preventing generation of static electricity which contains the barium titanate particles on an existing wall at a construction site, a wall preventing generation of static electricity can be constructed.
