PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide doors and windows capable of simplifying a structure of an interlocking mechanism, reducing the number of parts to reduce cost, stabilizing interlocking operation and having good operation property. SOLUTION: The interlocking mechanism 20 can be constituted by the simple structure because a roller 18D is provided on a sliding member 18 of a vertical stile (a meeting stile) 13 in a sash 10B and this roller 18D is abutted on at least an upper rail 11 of a sash 10A and an upper rail 3B of an upper frame 3 and rolls to open, close, and move two sashes 10A, 10B in the interlocking relationship so that the number of parts and manufacturing cost can be reduced. The roller 18D is abutted on the upper rail 3B causing no play at all and being not deviated in the direction of depth and rolls to reduce amount of deviation of the roller 18D and upper side parts of the upper rail 3B and the sash 10A and ensure satisfactory operation property by operating two sashes 10A, 10B smoothly in the interlocking relationship.
