PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for drawing out a yarn from a bobbin or another yarn wound body in the winding axis direction, with which a yarn such as tape yarn, flat string, a multifilament yarn having a flat cross section, etc., in the winding axis direction of the bobbin without twisting (torsion). SOLUTION: The apparatus positively rotates the bobbin 5 by a variable speed motor 2 so that an unwinding position 14 in the circumference direction in unwinding a yarn 13 from the bobbin 5 is not changed and the drawing out speed of the yarn 13 is coincident with the circumferential speed of the bobbin 5. The apparatus is equipped with a detector 9 for detecting deviation in the circumference direction of the unwinding position 14 of the yarn from the bobbin 5, detects the displacement of the detector by a sensor 10 and controls the rotation of the motor 2 for driving the bobbin to cancel the displacement so as to deal with the diameter change of the bobbin 5 and the change of the drawing out speed of the unwinding yarn 13a.
