PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying and washing machine capable of automatically detecting whether or not a filter for catching foreign matters is clogged without having a user confirm that visually or the like. SOLUTION: The drying and washing machine is constituted so as to detect a temperature near the inflow port of air to a heating part 132 and a temperature near the outflow port of air from the heating part 132, etc., by a thermistor 141 and a thermistor 142 and detect occurrence of the clogging of the filter on the basis of the detected result. For instance, on condition that the temperature of the thermistor 142 rises by a predetermined rising rate or a higher rate or that a temperature difference between the thermistor 141 and the thermistor 142 becomes a predetermined temperature or more, it is decided that the filter is clogged.
