PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong alga/coral multiplication member easily establishing spores of the alga or larvae of the coral, having excellent multiplication effects of the alga or coral and excellent mechanical strength and durability, effectively utilizing wastes and having excellent resource saving properties. SOLUTION: The alga/coral multiplication member comprises a formed product of coal ash obtained by pressure forming of mixed powder containing the coal ash such as fly ash or clinker ash and inorganic binding powder such as slaked lime, dolomite, gypsum, magnesium hydroxide or cement.
