The formed part for covering a sound-creating or sound-reflecting component such as a panel or underbody of a vehicle, with a cover fabric on the outer sides and a core fabric in between the cover fabrics, and a polypropylene film between the core fabric and the outer fabric in each case, has an additional textile layer (6) which is formed from mechanically bonded fibers with different properties. Several types (F1, F2) of fibers with different nominal fineness are provided. An independent claim is included for a sound-damping material structure for a formed part.
