<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in a camera-direct printing system using a wireless I/F, where a user who performs printing does not necessarily attend a printer, if the printer side setting items of paper size and others include default items meaning that printer side settings will be executed, there may be items that produce unknown effects when used. <P>SOLUTION: When a camera acquires printer setting items and displays the setting items via a camera UI, defaults are not displayed and selections are necessarily made from concrete setting items.
