<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary printing in the case of having transmitted Motorola S-format data from a host apparatus due to an operator's failure in operation for a printer which performs a printing by receiving data from the host. <P>SOLUTION: The printer which performs a printing by receiving the data from the host is equipped with: a detection means for detecting the Motorola S-format data; a printing stop means for stopping a printing processing; a notice means for informing an user of having received the Motorola S-format data; a printing-stop instruction input means for receiving the instruction of the printing stop of the Motorola S-format data; and a deletion means for deleting the Motorola S-format data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
