PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible that connection is easily conducted, by preventing slippage or movement in a connection member of a lateral-line wire, lowering of strength, or deterioration in balance. SOLUTION: This connection member 10 is formed by using a metal having a cylindrical shape as a material, then subjecting the metal to press working with a pointed punch by inward pressing the punch on the metal from both sides thereof, and denting both the sides of the metal, so as to form sleeves 12 for receiving a winding-start end 51 and a winding-finish end 51 of the lateral-line wire 50 and simultaneously to leave a partition-shaped thick wall part 11 at a central portion thereof. The connection member 10 is structured so that a length (l) in an axial direction of the central thick wall part 11 and a wire diameter (d) of the lateral-line wire satisfy a relation as follows: [a wire diameter (d) of the lateral-line wire]≤[a length (l) in an axial direction]≤8×[a wire diameter (d) of the lateral-line wire]. The lateral-line wire 50 is cut by being furnished with prescribed excessive parts, so that the winding-start end and the winding-finish end 51 of the lateral-line wire 50 are brought into contact with the thick wall part 11 on both the sides at innermost parts of the sleeves 12 without gaps.
