PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which develops a color without using a pigment and thus is available at a low cost, and exhibits high durability, and easily applicable as a packaging material. SOLUTION: The coloring resin composition comprises a polymer having a nitrogen-containing functional group and a polyvalent carboxylic acid or its anhydride, and is capable of expressing at least one absorption peak in a wave length range of 600-800 nm due to the formation of a mixture thereof.
