PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antenna structure capable of smoothly inserting an antenna structured by assembling a protection pipe and a cord into an antenna housing hole without requiring a special antenna assembling tool and without increasing antenna assembling man-hours and device costs of an antenna assembling means. SOLUTION: This antenna structure for an automobile is structured by housing a telescopic antenna body 7 which is supported by an antenna base 5 fitted to a roof 101 in the protection pipe 1, leads the cord 3 connected to a receiver from the protection pipe 1 and the antenna body 7 into the antenna housing hole 103 formed in a pillar 100 from an antenna through hole 104 of the roof 101, and takes the cord 3 out of a cord ejection opening 5 formed at a lower part of the pillar 100. The length of the protection pipe 1 is formed longer than, at least, a length along the antenna housing hole 103 between the antenna through hole 104 and the cord ejection opening 105, and the cord 3 is detachably fitted to the outlet side end of the protection pipe 1 through a sponge tape 4a.
