Panel (2) has operational component designed to reduce air pollutants or smoke. It has a coated body (4) and the component is put into the coating (6) on the body. The coating is 0.01 to 1 mm thick, preferably 0.05 to 0.5 mm thick. The coating contains the operational component in a concentration of 1% to 10% by weight, preferably 2% to 5%. Coating has a carrier material containing the operational component, preferably color pigment and/or corundum. The carrier material is either encased with the operational component or interspersed with it.
