<p>The engine has a screw compressor and a screw expander, each provided with a rotor (I, II). One of the rotors includes 12 screw pistons with a convex circular arc profile in rotor cross section, and 12 screw recesses. The rotors are made from aluminum alloy as precision pressure cast part and include reinforcing ribs (17, 18) integrally cast at a central pipe. Cooling oil is centrifugally filled between the reinforcing ribs and below the screw recesses. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for manufacturing a ceramic tiles for rotors of a screw expander.</p> |
