PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate preparation of presentation materials by easily operating the selection or input of character information corresponding to graphs.

SOLUTION: When a graph displayed at a graph display part is clicked in a core add-in part 17 for preparing a graph or the like based on numerical data, a graph information processing part 171 acquires time information as the parameter of an X shaft(horizontal shaft) of the clicked part. A character information acquisition part 172 acquires article information whose date information as one attribute information is adapted to the acquired time information from among article information(including the title information and article text information of newspaper articles or the like) stored in an article database server 3, and a core add-in part 17 displays the acquired article information at a display part 13. When comments based on the title information or article text information included in the article information are formed according to the selection of an operation part 12, the core add-in part 17 displays the comments in a graph comment box or description column in the graph.
