<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a solid material by removing a lid of a trap since the solid material is intercepted by a bottom surface and does not go up to the innermost part of a pipe body existing in a position distant from the trap by avoiding risk of water leakage so much together with smallness of the number of part items and simplicity of construction by changing a pipe diameter to a thin diameter pipe from a thick diameter pipe by one joint. <P>SOLUTION: This joint for a drainage system changes the pipe diameter to the thin diameter pipe from the thick diameter pipe. The joint for the drainage system is composed of a pipe body A inserted into the thick diameter pipe, a bottomed part provided on the insertion side base end of the pipe body A and a thin diameter pipe body B extending in the pipe body A from the bottomed part.
