<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating a pipe in which a flaw generated when the pipe is coated can be repaired easily. <P>SOLUTION: The first powder coating work is performed on the surface of the pipe. The second powder coating work is performed on the coating film of the firstly powder-coated flaw-detected pipe after the firstly powder-coated flaw-detected pipe is heated to the temperature at which the required adhesive strength between the coating film formed by the first powder coating work and the uncoated surface of the pipe can be kept. Epoxy resin powder paint is used as the coating for the powder coating work. The firstly powder-coated flaw-detected pipe is heated to 180-240°C when the second powder coating work is performed. The thickness of the coating film to be formed by the first and second powder coating works using the epoxy resin powder paint is 300-1,600μm in total. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
