PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna selecting method which requires only a small volume of computation in MIMO-OFDM. SOLUTION: Combinations of transmitting and receiving antennas with C (M, M<SB>r</SB>) C (N, N<SB>t</SB>) kinds are numbered from 1 to C (M, M<SB>r</SB>) C (N, N<SB>t</SB>). The number of the transmitting antenna corresponding to the given number is taken as G<SB>t</SB>(i), and the number of the receiving antenna, as G<SB>r</SB>(i) (ST100). Number 1 is calculated for each i (ST200). A maximum value of the number 1 is obtained and i for giving the maximum value is set as I (ST300). A transmitting antenna having a number of G<SB>t</SB>(I) and a receiving antenna having a number of G<SB>r</SB>(I) are selected (ST400). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
