PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip having the seal function and the stopper function and capable of enhancing the performance of both functions. SOLUTION: A hood seal weather strip for sealing a space between a front edge of an engine room and a front edge of an engine hood 2 is mounted on the front edge of the engine room of an automobile. A molded part 8 formed on an end of the weather strip has a mounting base part 21, a lip-shaped seal part 22, and a stopper part 23 integrated with the mounting base part 21 at the position separate backward of the seal part 22. When the engine hood 2 is closed, the front edge of the engine hood 2 is elastically abutted on or pressed against the seal part 22 to seal the engine room. Further, if the engine hood 2 is subjected to the over-stroke when the engine hood 2 is closed, the motion of the engine hood 2 is regulated by the stopper part 23 to prevent any contact of the front edge of the engine hood 2 with the front edge of the engine room.
