PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely cut a laminated tape without damage by a blade part by preventing abrasion of the blade part of a cutting blade. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus is provided with a cutting means for cutting either a printing tape or a separating tape at the printed part of the laminated tape. The cutting means cuts the laminated tape by pressing the cutting blade 32 to a receiving table 31, A recessed part 31b with a depth corresponding to the thickness of the printing tape or the separating tape of the laminated tape is formed on the receiving surface 31a of the receiving table 31. The cutting blade 31 is provided with a blade part 32a formed in a part opposite to the recessed part 31b, and also provided with projecting parts 32b, 32b formed in parts abutting on both side receiving parts 31c, 31c of the recessed part 31b. The blade part 32a and the tips of the projecting parts 32b, 32b are formed flush with each other. Thus, in cutting, the printing tape or the separating tape of the laminated tape can be cut without direct contact of the blade part 32a with the receiving table 31, and abrasion and breakage due to contact of the blade part 32a with the receiving table 31 can be prevented, so that the the laminated tape can be finely cut by the blade part 32a without damaging.
