PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading apparatus in which the object to be kneaded can be kneaded homogeneously as a whole and the amount of a kneaded material to be conveyed can be increased when the object to be kneaded is kneaded and the kneading efficiency of which is improved and to provide an agitation mixer to be used in the kneading apparatus. SOLUTION: The kneading apparatus is provided with a kneading tank 1 and the agitation mixer 2 arranged in the kneading tank 1 for agitating the solid or semisolid object, which is to be kneaded and is carried into the kneading tank 1, and conveying the kneaded material toward an outlet of the kneading tank. The agitation mixer 2 is provided with a rotary shaft 21 and a feeding blade 23 the face of which is turned to the direction between the rotative direction and the shaft direction and which is fixed to the rotary shaft 21 to be rotated together with the rotary shaft 21. A crushing means 24 for crushing the object to be kneaded when rotated is arranged on the rotary shaft 21 of the agitation mixer 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
