<p>The invention relates to an engine for converting the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotary motion of the main shaft with rack, gear and ratchet and controlling the valves with magnet and computer. The characteristic is that: a gear sleeve fitted rotatable with the main shaft is meshed with the connecting rod racks in the two sets of pistons. The ratchet on the main shaft is stirred by the detent in the gear sleeve to rotate the main shaft. The two ratchets in both rotational directions are provided in the main shaft. One is fixed on the main shaft, the other is fitted rotatable with the main shaft. The gear and ratchet assembly coupled rotatable with the main shaft changes the direction of the kinetic energy opposite to the rotational direction of the main shaft to rotate the main shaft. The valves are connected directly to the electromagnet and controlled with computer. Therefore the engine is economize and vibrationless, also has low emission, high specific power and long life, so it can be used widely in vehicles, ships, lightplanes and mini generating sets.</p> |
