The invention relates to the special electrometallurgy and guarantees increasing of intermediate container life in the case of compact billet remelting with use of electronic-beam heat sources. The intermediate container for compact billet remelting is equipped with cooled additional attachment, which is situated at the upper boundary of sidewall from the side of compact billet supplying, at that additional attachment plane, turned to the liquid metal is joint abreast with the upper boundary of sidewall, and it is made tilting into the side of compact billet supplying.
