<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductive polyimide belt having good electrical properties and capable of preventing problems on an image, such as void generation and toner spattering in transfer due to unevenness in surface resistivity and reduction of electric resistance by electric load during use, and shortening of the lifetime of a semiconductive belt in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, and a method for manufacturing the semiconductive polyimide belt. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductive polyimide belt contains carbon black, the common logarithm of surface resistivity of the belt is in a range of 8-14 [logΩ/sq.], and the difference between the common logarithms of surface resistivity at applied voltages of 100 V and 1,000 V is ≤0.5 [logΩ/sq.]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
