<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of storing a plurality of catalysts in an exhaust pipe to improve a purifying function of exhaust gas while maintaining layout of the vehicle in a satisfactory condition. <P>SOLUTION: This saddle riding type vehicle having the exhaust emission control function is provided with an engine 30 fixed to a vehicle body frame 10, the exhaust pipe 50 bent after being extended on a front side from the engine 30 and extended toward a rear part in the direction of advance of the vehicle, and catalyst on the upstream side and catalyst on the downstream side in the exhaust pipe 50. A catalyst storage part 51 on the upstream side for storing the catalyst on the upstream side in the exhaust pipe 50 and a catalyst storage part 52 on the downstream side for storing the catalyst on the downstream side are arranged by being separated from each other.
