<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CYP3A-inducing method by rifampicin which is known that the induction is not recognized in a rat hepatic cell. <P>SOLUTION: The CYP3A-inducing method involves culturing the rat hepatic small cell in the presence of the rifampicin. The CYP3A which is conventionally considered not to be induced by the rifampicin in the rat hepatic cell can be induced by the method in the rat hepatic small cell capable of being easily cultured and frozen for preservation. By using the culture system, the in-vivo interaction, i.e. drug action, possibility of hepatopathy, or the like when various kinds of test medicaments are used together with the rifampicin can be predicted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
