PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-linear organic semiconductor element which can be easily fabricated by printing, etc. and also to provide a display element which uses the non-linear organic semiconductor element to control pixels. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor element includes a laminate wherein a first electrode layer, an organic semiconductor layer, and a second electrode layer are stacked in order on a substrate, with a Schottky junction formed in the interface between the first electrode layer and the organic semiconductor layer or in the interface between the second electrode layer and the organic semiconductor layer, and an ohmic junction formed in the other interface. The organic semiconductor layer consists of two layers of organic semiconductor layers. By doping the carrier into the ohmic junction-side organic semiconductor layer, the non-linear organic semiconductor element having a high withstanding voltage is obtained.
