PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat type rotary machine, in which an even number of field systems and armatures that are structured in a shape, based on a rectangular parallelopiped, are provided on a rotating plate and a fixed plate perpendicular with respect to the rotating shaft. SOLUTION: The even number of field systems and armatures, structured in a shape based on a rectangular parallelopiped, are provided on a rotating plate and a fixed plate perpendicular to the rotating shaft, in such a way that the N pole and S pole of the field system alternate.
