PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a switch suitable for a broadcasting station, a repeater station and the like in a terrestrial digital television broadcasting system. SOLUTION: The switch comprises: a plurality of high frequency lines connecting input sources and output destination in a high-frequency manner; a switching circuit provided for each high frequency line for line-selectively blocking high-frequency connection; and a drive circuit for driving the switching circuits. At least any one of the switching circuits is a shunt circuit S and in the high frequency lines, a line portion including a spot where the shunt circuit S is disposed, and having an electrical length of a natural multiple ofλ/2 (λ: carrier wavelength of signal propagated on high frequency line) across an input source side and an output destination side is a line portion having a low peculiar impedance relative to line portions, located at the input source side and the output destination side, in the view from the line portion.
