PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have strength and secure high parts accuracy at low cost, in simple constitution. SOLUTION: A shaft type linear motor 10, which has a stator 20 that accommodates a plurality of magnets 24 in a pipe-shaped member 21 and is held at both ends, and a moving member 30 that is arranged to surround the stator 20 and includes a coil 31, has a stopper mechanism 23 which is constituted by processing the end of the pipe-shaped member 21 so as to stop the slip out of the magnet 24.
