PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and a method for measuring adhesive strength of a toner which measure and evaluate accurately separation force (adhesive force) between a support body for the toner, paper or the like, and a separation member for a fixing roller. SOLUTION: In this adhesive force instrument 30A, the toner 10 for electrophotograph of a measured object is deposited on the support body 1, the toner is fusion-fixed onto the support body by bringing close contact with a heated reception plate 5 for a fixed time at prescribed pressure, using a pressurizing body 3, and the support body 1 is separated thereafter from the reception plate, so as to measure the separation force when separated. In the instrument, a fluororesin layer or silicone resin layer 3b is provided on a pressurizing face surface of a pressurizing member 3a in the pressurizing body 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
