PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which enhances the attractiveness of games and players' interests. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is provided with a stage part 45 where game balls flowing in from a variable prize winning slot 10 can roll, detectors 101, 102 and 103 capable of outputting detection signals when detecting the game balls on the stage part 45 and a control board 37 which is disposed to enable the control of performance devices 8, 29, 104, 105 and 107 based on the detection signals. The stage part 45 is provided with a mechanism which distributes the game balls to a specified area guide path 50 which makes the game balls easier to guide to the specified area for shifting the game to a state advantageous for players responding to its winning with the game balls or to ordinary area guide paths 51 and 52 which make them harder to guide to the specified area from the specified area guide path 50.
