The clamp for attaching fitments to profiled rails comprises an upper (2) and a lower (3) section which fit together to form a C-shape. A transverse threaded bore (4) in the upper section allows it to be attached to the rail and a pair of longitudinal bores (5) allow the sections to be bolted together and adjusted according to the size of the fitment. An independent claim is included for poles, especially for marquees, fitted with the clamps.
