The method for assessing the intrauterine state of fetus in the setting of pre-eclampsia comprises dopplerometry of the uterine-placental and fetal-placental blood circulation. The dopplerometry is performed in the umbilical artery, the thoracic aorta, the middle cerebral artery, vena cava inferior, the venous duct, and the uterine arteries. The systolic, diastolic, and mean blood flow rates, the resistance index, the pulse index, and systolic-diastolic ratio are assessed. The specified values of these parameters are indicative of the intrauterine state of fetus in the setting of mild, moderate, or severe pre-eclampsia
