An image inclination compensating method, a processor, and a recording medium for recording a program therefor are provided to automatically compensate inclination when an image is captured, thereby obtaining an improved image. An inclination compensating application decodes an original image file stored in a memory(S500). The application confirms inclination information of a captured original image(S502), and crops area except a guide frame area from the original image(S504). The application generates an image whose absolute perpendicularity/horizontality is adjusted, by rotating a cropped image through the inclination information(S506). The compensated image is encoded and stored in the memory(S508).
