The pocket inhaler has a single side opened external pipe (5) and an internal pipe (3) opened from both sides. The external pipe has heating system and source for the production of vapor or smoke like aroma and active substance-containing aerosol from a plant material. A hollow cylinder (2) is attached to the internal pipe, which is provided with one or more axially running internal longitudinal grooves. The air flows partly into the mouthpiece (4) by the axially running longitudinal grooves which is heated up indirectly by a warm air flow.
