<p>The evaporator burner is for liquid fuel and incorporates an evaporation chamber in which is a rotating atomizer disk (4), which has a plate (10) vertical to its axis (A), with a horizontal inner surface (11) and an upwardly inclined outer surface (12). At least the outer surface has a structured formation (S). The angle of inclination of the outer surfaces (11,12) amounts to 10 to 20 degrees. The structured formation comprises indented grooves (14). The heating oil which drops from the oil feed onto the plate reaches the grooves and then by reason of the atomizer disk rotation by the centrifugal force acting in the grooves is moved toward the outer edge of the atomizer disk and then on the inner surface to the outer surface on which it moves to the edge. From this edge the oil drops are impelled away. With the summation of the individual effects produced in the burner, a satisfactory combustion process is achieved and no untoward carbon deposits are formed.</p> |
