<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for a vehicle, which has a switch for unlocking a vehicle door, and which enhances the operability of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This handle device 1 for the vehicle is equipped with a touch-type switch 7 for opening/closing the vehicle door, which is arranged in an operating handle for opening/closing the vehicle door, along the longitudinal direction of the operating handle, and a lighting part 11 which is annexed along the touch-type switch 7. The touch-type switch 7 is arranged in the state of being offset with respect to the lighting direction of the lighting part 11. Preferably, the lighting part 11 has a plurality of LED lamps 11.
