<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift resister which can be operated stably for a long time by preventing characteristic fluctuation of transistors. <P>SOLUTION: The shift resister comprises a plurality of steps RS (1) to RS (n) and each step RS (1) to RS (n) is constituted of six TFTs 1 to 6. In the k-th step RS (k), an output signal OUTk-1 (a start signal Dst from the outside in the first step) of the prior step is supplied to a gate of the TFT 1, the TFT 1 is turned on when the level of the output signal is increased and the TFTs 2 and 5 are turned on and the TFT 3 is turned off by outputting power source voltage Vdd from a drain to a source to accumulate a charge in a node Ak. An output signal OUTk+1 (an ending signal Dend from the outside in the n-th step) of the posterior step RS (k+1) is supplied to the TFT 6 and when the level of the output signal is increased, the TFT 6 is turned on to discharge the charge accumulated in the node Ak. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
