<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selling articles using portable electronic information display means. <P>SOLUTION: Information is requested by organizing in advance members who require information about the articles as potential consumers, using the portable electronic information display means distributed to the members and connecting the portable electronic information display means to a PC or information communication means such as a local area network. In one example, the portable electronic information display means connected to the PC connected to a communication line by USB connection, etc. automatically request the information. Thus, the prepared information regarding the prescribed articles is distributed to the portable electronic information display means.
