<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder for a vehicle capable of certainly and efficiently recording/retaining sufficient data required for analysis of a cause or the like of collision. <P>SOLUTION: The data recorder for the vehicle is provided with a collision detection means 12 for detecting the collision of the vehicle; and a recording processing means 14 for recording/retaining output data of various kinds of on-vehicle sensors 20, 30, 40, 50 mounted on the vehicle in a non-volatile memory 70, and performs data recording/retaining processing relating to the collision by the recording processing means when the collision is detected by the collision detection means. When a plurality of collisions with different collision forms are successively detected by the collision detection means within a short time, the recording processing means performs data recording/retaining processing relating to the respective collisions according to preferential order based on the collision forms of the respective collisions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
