PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankshaft capable of reducing both weight and an unbalance couple of force in a V-type six cylinder engine. SOLUTION: The crankshaft 1 of the V-type six cylinder engine is provided with first to sixth crank pins P1-P6, first to fourth crank journals J1-J4, and first to ninth arms A1-A9 for connecting crank pins and crank journals to each other. The fifth arm A5 among the first to ninth arms A1-A9 has no counter weight, and the first to third arms A1-A3 and the seventh to ninth arms A7-A9 have the counter weights.
